Top 3 dense forest in the world

1. Amazon Basin

The largest continuous tropical rain forest is found in South America's Amazon basin. The Amazon is the second-longest and largest river in the world, spanning nine nations. The Amazon basin spans an area of 7 million square kilometres (1.2 billion acres), whereas the actual forest, which is home to the greatest diversity of plants and animals on Earth, only covers about 5,500,000 square kilometres.

Brazil contains 60% of the world's rain forests, followed by Peru (13%), and smaller portions are found in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana. Nearly one-tenth of all mammal species, along with one-fifth of all plants and bird species, are found here.

2. Congo Basin

Together with its tributaries, the Congo river, the second longest river in Africa, creates the second biggest contiguous rain forest on the globe. From the Mountains of the Moon in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo to the coast of the Gulf of Guinea, his huge forest spans six African nations (Cameroon, Central African Republic, Gabon, Congo, and Zaire). It is a country with a bloody history that gained notoriety because to Stanley and Livingstone's exploits.

3. Southeast Asia

The Southeast Asian rain forests are the oldest, the most consistent rain forests on the planet. These forests are there since Pleistocene Epoch for more than 70 million years. Southeast Asian forests are one of the Earth’s most biologically diverse forests. These rain forests stretch from India and Burma in the west to Malaysia and the islands of Java and Borneo in the east.
